How to do multiplayer sessions in Tribe

In Tribe, you can set up multiplayer sessions to play with your friends or other DJs online.

💡

Multiplayer between the Oculus and Steam versions is not yet supported, but multiplayer works between Quest and Rift versions.

If you want to play with friends, make sure you have added them on Steam app or Oculus Home app.

To invite friends to start a private session:

On Tribe's Home screen < Friends panel < click Invite next to your friends. (Only friends who are online are listed.)

To accept an invite:

On Tribe's Home screen < Friends panel < click Accept Invite.

How to change where your character is standing

In the main menu, click on "Start DJing" to teleport behind the Decks
If you want to move the the other side of the decks, select "Mentor Mode" on the home menu

On Tribe's Home screen < click Multiplayer Rooms, OR go to Rooms from the bottom navigation.

To host a session:

Configure your preferences in Room Settings panel on the left < click Create.

To invite friends to the room you created, click Invite Friends. (Only friends who are online are listed here.)
