In Tribe, you can set up multiplayer sessions to play with your friends or other DJs online.
💡
Multiplayer between the Oculus and Steam versions is not yet supported, but multiplayer works between Quest and Rift versions.
If you want to play with friends, make sure you have added them on Steam app or Oculus Home app.
Multiplayer Basics
To invite friends to start a private session: On Tribe's Home screen < Friends panel < click Invite next to your friends. (Only friends who are online are listed.)
On Tribe's Home screen < Friends panel < click Accept Invite.
How to change where your character is standing - In the main menu, click on "Start DJing" to teleport behind the Decks
- If you want to move the the other side of the decks, select "Mentor Mode" on the home menu
Full steps
On Tribe's Home screen < click Multiplayer Rooms, OR go to Rooms from the bottom navigation. - Click the
Create Room button. - Configure your preferences in
Room Settings panel on the left < click Create. - To invite friends to the room you created, click
Invite Friends. (Only friends who are online are listed here.)
- Click on any rooms listed under
OPEN ROOMS panels.
- Go to
Rooms from the bottom navigation < on the left Host's Room panel < click Leave Room.
To kick or mute a player: - Click the player’s icon in the My Room Panel and click
Kick or Mute.
