Finding 360 Images

You can also use 360 images instead of video.

These are often called:

• 360 panoramas
• spherical panoramas
• equirectangular images

Download the highest resolution available.

Convert Images to Video

Tribe XR requires .mp4 video files.

Images must be converted into a video.

Use Canva.

Canva Setup

Create a custom canvas size:

4096 × 2048 px

Steps:

1. Open Canva
2. Click Create Design
3. Choose Custom Size
4. Set size to 4096 × 2048 px

Preparing the Image

1️⃣ Set the background colour to black

2️⃣ Upload your image

3️⃣ Fit the image to the canvas

⚠️ Some images are not the correct shape.

This can create black stripes behind the image.

Using Canva and ensuring the sides of the image meet the edges of the canvus, will fix this.

Export

Export as:

MP4 Video

Even static images must be exported as video.
