- Open the Soundcloud tab in the music menu.
- Click on "Login with Soundcloud Go+" and "Request Access Token"
- A web browser will be opened on your Computer Screen. Take off your headset and enter your sign in information for your Soundcloud account. Confirm you are not a robot and then click "Sign in and Connect"
- Click the "Copy Access Token" button.
- You can then use the apps menu to resume the Tribe XR app
- Once you are back in Tribe, click "Submit Access token".
- You now have access to your saved playlists on Soundcloud Go.
- Open the Music menu and select the Soundcloud tab on the left.
- Click on "Login with Soundcloud Go+"
- You will be automatically brought to your Quest Home, where a web browser will open up in front of you. Note that this could take up to 10 seconds.
- Use your Soundcloud Go username and password, confirm you are not a robot, and then click "Sign in and Connect"
- After signing in, click the "Copy Access Token" button.
- You can then use the apps menu to resume the Tribe XR app
- Once back in Tribe, click "Submit the Access Token"
- You now have access to your saved playlists on Soundcloud Go.
Troubleshooting
Open the settings on the SoundCloud website
Scroll down to Connected Applications and click "Revoke Access" next to Tribe XR
Restart your Headset and repeat the login process as described in the video.
Some content creators haven't allowed these tracks to be made streamable via SoundCloud GO+ or playable outside of SoundCloud and its apps. Contact the content creator or SoundCloud directly to inquire further.
If these tracks are your own tracks, you can change this preference yourself. On Soundcloud.com, you can click edit on your track to change the permissions. Make sure the Enable app playback preference is selected.
